Kimono Scraps Art

Calligraphy
Learn the beautiful art of traditional Japanese Calligraphy, known as SHODOU (書道). Learn how to use the tools, practice basic Kanji and how write your name in Japanese.

Ikebana
Ikebana(いけばな) is the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement, also known as “Kado(華道).”
Come explore the world of Ikebana, relax, and enjoy a peaceful time connecting with nature’s beauty as you create your own unique flower arrangement.
The flowers you arrange in the workshop are yours to take home, so you can decorate your space with a beautiful touch of nature, bringing the tranquility and beauty of Ikebana into your everyday life.

Nerikiri (Wagashi)
In this fun, unique and hands-on beginners class you will learn about Japanese confectionery Nerikiri and make your own beautiful creations.

Hanko Stamp Carving
You will learn about, design and carve your own Hanko stamp. You can use it for your artwork, photographs, cards, as your business logo and more.

Ceramic Design
You can create your own original ceramic tea bowl, or travel cup.

Tea Ceremony
Let’s make “sado (tea ceremony)” more accessible by sharing some knowledge of the tea ceremony and the qualities of Japanese culture.
