Experience Japan in Melbourne

Japaneasy – Japanese Language and Culture Learning Centre

ABOUT JAPANEASY

JAPANEASY was established in 2008 as a Japanese language centre at the request of students, after having previously offered Japanese language education privately.

The centre caters to children and adults of various levels, nationalities, and purposes, and now has about 20 teachers and over 350 students, making it the largest Japanese language centre in Australia. The centre has maintained a friendly, home-like atmosphere among teachers and students, and has maintained its passion for Japanese language education and love for its students.

The centre is also active in activities outside the classroom, such as holding cultural classes, language exchanges, and cultural festivals, offering Japanese language teacher training courses for Japanese people, and dispatching teachers to schools and companies to teach Japanese language education in Melbourne.

A message from our principal

Konnichiwa! Welcome to JAPANEASY, where once you step in, you can feel Japan in Melbourne.

JAPANEASY was born in 2008 with a very tiny room (just 6 squared metres!) and about 50 students. Since then, we have created a place of laughter, love and passion, supported by so many wonderful teachers and countless generous people / friends.

Our aim is to be the world’s happiest learning centre. We are always here to listen to all of your voices to help your dreams come true.

We believe that both language as well as culture are important to discover the country and learn. We hope that through our activities, we will contribute to creating good relations between Japan and Australia, as well as between Japan and yourself.

We welcome you to become a part of the JAPANEASY family and have a whole lot of fun with us.

Arigato! We look forward to meeting you.

What our students think

I was looking at couples of Japanese language centre at that time. In the end I chose JAPANEASY because of their well-structured courses, informative and friendly staffs, native speaker teachers, and plenty of out-of-class activities. I gave it a try and am very happy with the decision.

I really enjoy my lesson every week and feel very motivated after each lesson. The small class size is conductive to learning. The staffs and teachers are also great and very helpful. Language Exchange Nihon-mura is also a good out-of-a-class activity to attend. JAPANEASY has been a great experience for me.
